qShots is a comprehensive multi-camera logging tool for the film and television production industry. This custom-designed software offers features not found in other software available to the industry whilst retaining a familiar interface to other professional applications.

Tools

Project manager ::

Allows recording of project information during pre-production including project name, scenes, actors, cameras, reels, episodes, location and genre.

Time Code Tool ::

• Shortcut keys enabling quick and easy log in/out points with total flexibility to allow changes to in/out points.
• Can specify what sources are currently being recorded, i.e. vision, audio channels and time code.
• Can work on time of day code, which can be auto set via internet connection for exact web time synchronisation. Also has manual time code which is zero based.

Camera tool ::

• Multiple camera tools at once, each camera tool is unique to each camera.
• Allows recording of shot description and audio description as well as shot rating on a sliding scale.

Scene Tool ::

Make 'on-the-fly' changes to scene details previously entered into project manager during pre-production.

Log Editor ::

Make 'on-the-fly' changes to shot or audio descriptions in log records post event logging.

Log Viewer ::

View and print logs in different formats, i.e. grid view, report view. Order your log by time code, rating, take number or source. Filters can also be applied based on shot description. Logs can be printed or saved as web page for publication on your local intranet or distribution via email.
